This extension is designed to give you the ability to render the Work Item status workflow as a graph (visual workflow chart). This provides multiple benefits like graph traversing in forward & backward directions, and displaying of current workflow status and its next actions.
When there is a situation where we need to understand the Work Item status workflow, it is currently displayed in a tabular format which is a bit complex to comprehend.
For new users, it can be a little difficult to understand how to read the workflow. With this plugin, we reduce the time taken and complexity of reading and understanding the Work Item status workflow. The plugin provides an easy interface that highlights the current Work Item status and its connected nodes. The control panel feature gives easy access to users to manage workflow in a graphical view.

Option 1 - Setup to Install & Configure as Plugin (Work Item form section)
Installation
- Deploy the extracted file (renderWorkFlowGraph.vm) in the Polarion scripts directory, usually located at C:\Polarion\scripts.
- (for Polarion versions older than 22 R2) Download the Velocity Work Item Form Extension from the Polarion Extension Portal and install it.
Configuration
- Go to Administration - Work Items - Form Configuration
- Add/Edit Form Layout of the Work Item type you want to add the Velocity Form to
- Add a line defining the extension with parameters:

Option 2 - Setup to Install & Configure as Widget
Installation
- Open repo browser
- Deploy the extracted folder in the widgets directory, usually located at <polarion project path>\.Polarion\pages\widgets
Configuration
- Open a Live Report Page
- Click the Expand Tools button and Edit the Live Report page
- Select the Widgets sidebar and insert the Intelizign - Workflow Viewer widget
- Select the Work Item type from the Parameter dropdown and click on Apply & Save
