Polarion 2606 shows the Administration menu sections of extensions in a different order after each restart, and the pages inside each section change their order too. Up to Polarion 2512, the menu followed the order in which each extension declared its pages.
Admin Menu Organizer restores a predictable order. It reorders the menu entries that Polarion has already loaded: it adds no entries and removes none.
By default, the extension does not change anything. An administrator opens Administration > Admin Menu Organizer > Menu Order and turns on either or both options:
- Pages in the order the extension defines them. Inside each section, the pages keep the order their extension declares, instead of a new order after every restart.
- Sections in alphabetical order. The sections of all extensions appear from A to Z.
Saving applies the order at once; reload the Polarion page to see it. Turning both options off returns the menu to the order Polarion built at startup. The saved options are applied again each time Polarion starts.
