Test Result Pie Charts Widget

This widget renders pie charts showing details regarding the test execution status and further properties of the test Work Items.

Description

The widget supports the following charts which can be activated and deactivated individually:

  • Test Results: Shows the aggregated test result (of the linked test Work Items like Test Cases) for each Work Item. The widget supports the following test result types:
    • Passed: All tests were executed and the result was Passed.
    • Partial: At least one test passed and at least another test is Failed, Partial, Blocked or all of the executed tests have the result Partial (i.e., some lower-level tests Passed, some Failed).
    • Failed: No test passed and at least one test has the result Failed.
    • Blocked: All executed tests have the result Blocked.
    • Incomplete: All executed tests passed but there are no executed tests.
    • Untested: No tests have been executed.
    • Undefined Result: The executed tests have results not mapped in the widget configuration.
  • All Tests Executed: Displays the distribution of Work Items where all tests have been executed versus those that have not. This chart does not consider Work Items without linked test Work Items.
  • Has Test Items: Displays the distribution of Work Items having linked test Work Items versus those that have not.
  • Number of Test Items: Shows the distribution of the number of test Work Items per Work Item.
  • Types of Test Items: Shows the distribution of linked test Work Item types.
  • Status of Test Items: Shows the distribution of linked test Work Item statuses.
  • Projects of Test Items: Shows the distribution of linked test Work Item projects.

The widget needs to be configured for the test Work Item types and the test result IDs need to be mapped in widget parameters. Below each pie chart, the widget can also add hyperlinks to open the query of each segment in the tracker view.
