Lynxwork JIRA Connector is fully compatible with Polarion’s standard functionality for Linked Data applications.
Polarion is used as a Linked Data consumer, and you can use Polarion’s standard functionality to:
- Create a Linked Data Friend with JIRA Connector.
- Create Linked Data Associations between specific projects in Polarion and JIRA.
- Map the Work Item and link types that can be linked to JIRA Issue types.
This same JIRA Connector can create traceability links from any other OSLC-enabled application, such as Teamcenter, IBM Doors, etc.
The JIRA Connector provides a basic starting functionality with a predefined set of JIRA Issue types (namely, Change Request, Task, and Defect).
Use LynxDesigner’s model-based low-code capabilities to extend the Connector to fully suit your particular needs:
- Define the specific JIRA Issue types to expose to Polarion.
- Configure the content and layout of the Jira Issue to present to the user.
- Control the search logic when searching for JIRA Issues.
JIRA Connector is designed to work with JIRA Cloud. It should also work with any JIRA implementation that provides a REST API V3 interface.
This JIRA Connector can be deployed as a Docker Container, or servlet containers such as Apache Tomcat, or Jetty.
