The SPE API gives you a unified API for all polarion artifacts: Work Items, Documents, Plans, Testruns, User, Projects and more. Everything is at your disposal and you can access them all with the same concise API. The API is optimized to support you on rendering HTML pages, embedding them as widgets and coding in velocity.
Our design goal was to reduce your existing velocity codebase at least 50%. Depending on your wikicode the enhancement can be much more. For example, the build-in 3 Level Traceability table in polarion has more than 200 LOC. our Tracer has regardless of table depth only 25 LOC.
This means: less code to read, less code to maintain, and more functionality to gain.

You can use the SPE out-of-the-box. Our coding manuals put you directly into usecase based scenarios. SPE has more than 12 man-years of Polarion consulting experience inside. We know your usecases and what you want to get out of your polarion system. We analyzed and optimized hundreds of wikipages for our customers. SPE developed as framework and best practice approach during many consulting sessions.

We created a full-fledged API documentation, a coding manual and a revolutionary build-in help system for each Module complete with tutorials and example source code. Dive in by copy+paste already working examples like Userlists or multilevel-level tracetables.
