How to submit extensions for Polarion POP

To submit an extension, fill in Submission_Form.rtf and send it via email, attaching a ZIP archive of your extension, to . If accepted, Polarion Software will publish your submission on the Polarion POP site. Polarion Software reserves right to request changes before accepting any entry, or to reject the entry and not publish it if the entry lacks basic documentation, is not fully operational, or is not, in Polarion Software's sole judgment, conducive or beneficial to the Polarion Community.

Icon

We encourage people to design a unique icon for their extension. If you want to publish an icon for your extension, attach the image to the submission email. The icon should have the size: 70x70 pixels, GIF or PNG format preferred. Please name the attached file as icon.gif or icon.png.

Screenshots

We encourage people to publish several screenshots of the extension usage. It helps the community to better understand what your extension is about. If you wish to publish screenshots attach several (e.g. 5) screenshots to the submission email, all of them packed into one zip file called screenshots.zip. Preferred format is PNG format, max size 1200x800.

Extension Packaging

The submission form is only for standard extensions that can be downloaded directly from the Polarion POP site and that are licensed under an open source license (see below for licensing details).

Format: the extension should be packed as a single zip file with following included:

• deployable solution - i.e. Polarion plugin, wiki page or script fragment, project template
• source code - if any
• README.txt

Readme: the readme file must include:

• name of the extension
• short description
• author
• extension requirements
• install instructions (might be extracted to dedicated install.txt file)

Please attach the extension bundle to the submission email.

Extension License

By default extensions are published under Berkeley Standard Distribution (BSD) or Apache open source license.
